Our Roots
established in 2006
John Gordon started Coastal Lawns in 2006 as a part-time side business with one employee and a handful of customers looking for lawn care service. As these customers referred us to neighbors and friends, it wasn't long before we were asked if we could service an irrigation system, plant a few Crape Myrtles or add a hardscaping feature to a backyard.
As the needs of our customers continued to grow, so did our business. Today Coastal Lawn & Landscaping employs 16 people and services more than 400 residential customers in the coastal towns of Sussex County, providing a full portfolio of landscaping services, from fertilization and irrigation to installations and hardscaping.
